The perfect hygienic functionality of the
Condair Dual 2 humidifier has convinced consultants, air handling unit manufacturers, contractors and customers around the world since the Condair Dual was launched in 1997.
The humidifier also meets requirements that go beyond the strict
hygiene specifications in VDI 6022 (DIN Standards of Association of German Engineers), thanks to its design characteristics and efficient primary bacteria removal employing patented silver ionisation which introduces a controlled quantity of silver ions (depending on the humidifier output) into the spray water.
As a result, the humidifier was awarded the
long-term certificate by the renowned SGS Fresenius Institute in Wiesbaden , Germany , and this guarantees that the operator can expect extremely hygienic humidifier operation with the Condair Dual 2 for many years if suitable humidifier maintenance is realised.
Air measurements conducted annually on different systems indicate that levels achieved with the Condair Dual 2 considerably surpass the recommended hygiene values.
The results of these measurements have not only convinced customers in clean room technology and the semiconductor, pharmaceutical and food industries, but also led to a variety of clinics and hospitals using the Condair Dual 2 for supply air humidifying.
The hospital in Limmattal Zurich , which accommodates various specialised clinics and, with 7’500 stationary patients, is one of the largest hospitals in Switzerland , has also decided to employ the Condair Dual 2 humidifier.
As the values achieved with the hybrid humidifier are well below the 100 bacteria/m³ specified for humidified supply air, the Condair Dual 2 can also be used without hesitation for
humidifying operating theatres.
The humidifier represents an hygienic and energy-saving alternative humidifiers technologies in this respect, with a primary energy requirement of only 150 – 335 Watt.
The reference from the Limmattal Hospital indicates the satisfaction of a customer with the only adiabatic humidifier system on the market that can also meet the highest hygiene requirements in hospitals.
