Humidifying is not realised via a central air conditioning cabinet in numerous applications, but rather directly in the room. The classic atomizer functioning on the rotation atomisation principle still offers a lot of advantages when compared with other technologies. The following represent the most important of these:

The rotation atomizer functional principle is simple. Humidifying water is suctioned from the water tank through the rotating atomiser element and thrown against an atomiser grid through the action of a spinning disk. The water is transformed into fine aerosols. Room air is simultaneously suctioned in and filtered before the air is moistened with aerosols. These are distributed in the room via the ventilation fan. Suction fitting, spinning disk, fan and drive motor form a compact unit. Performance outputs ranging from 0.5 kg/h to 18 kg/h can be supplied, depending on the version involved:

Examples of atomizer applications include the paper and print industry (storage and printing processes), vegetable and fruit stores, textile industry (raw material store and processing) and the tobacco industry (storage and manufacture of tobacco products).
